After I hand over my property to Short Escape, can I still use the facilities?

Answer: Yes, as the owner, you can keep an access card for personal use.

If I want to stay in my property, are there any additional costs?

Answer: Yes, you can stay in your property. Just confirm with our staff in advance to

ensure that the property is not booked on your desired date. As the owner, you only

need to pay a cleaning fee to the cleaning staff.

Is Short Escape the same as other management companies in allowing

only 15 days of owner occupancy per year?

Answer: Unlike other management companies, Short Escape does not limit the number

of days you can stay. You just need to confirm with our staff in advance to ensure no

one else has booked the property.

What are the monthly expenses I need to pay?

Answer: Monthly expenses include the property ' s maintenance fee and the drinking

water machine fee (such as Coway or Cuckoo).

What is the profit-sharing model for Airbnb?

Answer: Our profit-sharing model splits the rental income, after deducting operating

expenses, at a 70/30 ratio. As the owner, you receive 70% of the income, and Short

Escape takes 30% for providing comprehensive management services.

How is the 70/30 ratio calculated?

Answer: The 70/30 ratio is calculated after deducting necessary operating expenses

from the rental income. These expenses include utilities, consumables, and laundry

costs.

What aspects does Short Escape manage?

Answer: Short Escape handles all aspects of Airbnb management, including guest

communication, payment processing, pricing adjustments, regular inspections,

cleaning services, and guest screening.

Where do I follow up after my Airbnb starts?

Answer: Short Escape will create a WhatsApp group with you before starting

operations for easier coordination.Short Escape will automatically send booking

information to the group and provide a monthly sales report.

What if my furniture or appliances are stolen by guests?

Answer: Short Escape will collect evidence and file a claim with Airbnb.

Do I need to replace the door lock with an electronic one?

Answer: Yes, because electronic locks are essential for Airbnb. This also provides

security for you as the owner. The price for a one-bedroom lock is 999, and for a

three-bedroom lock, it is 2799.For both of this Door Lock is function with multi

password, means that we can change the password for every guest.

What is the difference with the 2799 lock?

Answer: The 2799 smart lock has a power-off function to prevent guests from wasting

electricity (such as leaving the air conditioning on while out), which can lower

electricity costs. Our successful cases show that installing this lock can save about

RM400 per month, totaling RM9600 in two years.

Can I place my old furniture in the property?

Answer: No, we recommend using furniture with a consistent style, which is more

suitable for guests and maintains overall aesthetics.

How do I know if someone is staying today?

Answer: With the electronic door lock, you can check from your phone if someone has

entered your property on any given day. You will receive a notification on your phone

whenever the door is opened, providing the most direct way to check.

If there are issues like leaks or wall cracks, who bears the cost?

Answer: As the owner, you bear these costs because they are related to the property ' s

structural defects, not caused by operating an Airbnb. It is advisable to inspect these

defects with the developer beforehand.

Who purchases the consumables?

Answer: Short Escape handles the purchase of consumables, so you don ’t need to worry

about these minor issues.

What do I need to prepare initially?

Answer: After Short Escape decorates the property and ensures all items are in place,

you only need to quickly confirm the decoration style with us to start operations.
